This is the 2008 Upper Deck UD "Masterpieces" Baseball Series complete mint hand collated basic 90 card set with rookies and Hall of Famers; it was never issued in factory form. Loaded with stars including Alex Rodriguez, Ichiro Suzuki, David Wright, Chipper Jones, Frank Thomas, Ken Griffey Jr., Daisuke Matsuzaka, Manny Ramirez, Joba Chamberlain, Ryan Howard, Greg Maddux and more!! Lots of rookies including Evan Longoria, Kosuke Fukudome, Jay Bruce, Max Scherzer and others. Great selection of retired stars and Hall of Famers including Jim Palmer, Ozzie Smith, Yaz, Ryne Sandberg, Brooks Robinson, Wade Boggs, Robin Yount, Whitey Ford and others! This set is VERY undervalued by Beckett when you consider the stars are worth at least $1 per and there are a ton of them, Longoria is $8, Jay Bruce is $4, Fukudome is $3. Total book value of the singles is in the $75 range and the boxes are very expensive, won't see too many sets on the market. A steal at just $25 while supplies last!
